Sustainbility Strategy

Since 2018, the Company has developed and implemented a comprehensive sustainability strategy across all operational areas, including its subsidiaries. This strategy aims to integrate economic aspects, environmental preservation, occupational health and safety (OHS), human resource (HR) development, community empowerment, and corporate governance into all business activities in a balanced and sustainable manner.

Serving as an operational guideline, this strategy provides a reference for setting targets, evaluating performance, and preparing work plans. To that end, the Company has established six pillars of Sustainability Commitment that reflect its environmental and social vision while aligning with its economic and operational goals. These pillars are:

  1. Ensuring economic and operational benefits

  2. Advancing human resources

  3. Supporting community social development

  4. Upholding occupational health and safety

  5. Preserving nature and the environment

  6. Enforcing governance and legal compliance

These pillars are aligned with the Sustainability Pathways of MIND ID, the State-Owned Mining Industry Holding Company, which are based on the GRI 2021 Standards, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Sustainalytics Index, and the principles of the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM). The six pathways include:

  1. Environment & Climate Change

  2. Smart Operations & Product Stewardship

  3. Human Capital

  4. Community

  5. Economic Development

  6. Governance

As part of strategy implementation, the Company conducts stakeholder identification, both internal and external, across all operational areas, following the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard (AA1000SES) and ISO 26000 methodologies.

Stakeholder engagement is carried out actively through various methods that prioritize open communication, the fulfillment of needs, and the provision of solutions to feedback and complaints. External stakeholders, such as local communities, regional governments, business partners, and non-governmental organizations, are key elements in building collaborative and sustainable relationships to achieve shared goals.
