Anti-Bribery Management System

PT TIMAH Tbk fully supports the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in the prevention and eradication of corruption, through a letter from PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum (Persero) on February 21, 2020, with letter number: 165 / DIRUT / II / 2020 Regarding the Implementation and Certification of SNI ISO 37001: Anti -Bribery Management System (“ABMS”).

In the next process, to increase efforts to prevent corruption, the Company has issued the Decree of the Board of Directors of PT TIMAH Tbk Number 0481 / Tbk / SK-0000/20-S11.2 dated April 6, 2020 concerning the Appointment of a Balance Team and Implementation of ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System ( SMAP) within PT TIMAH Tbk and on June 2, 2020 the company has issued Guidelines for the Anti-Bribery Management System in PT TIMAH Tbk with document number 0010 / Tbk / PER-0000/20-S11.1 which then revised Company Regulations concerning Amendments and Re-enactment of Company Regulation Number 0010/Tbk/PER-0000/20-S11.1 concerning Guidelines for Anti-Bribery Management Systems within PT TIMAH Tbk.

The commitment to prevention has also been regulated in the Work Guidelines for the Board of Commissioners and Directors (Board Manual), the Code of Conduct, and the Whistle Blowing System (WBS) Procedure. In addition, the Company has also issued Company Regulation Number 002/Tbk/PER-0000/19-S11.1 dated April 8, 2019, concerning Guidelines for Gratification Control in PT TIMAH Tbk.

SNI ISO 37001: 2016 Certification for ABMS PT TIMAH Tbk
The PT TIMAH Tbk ABMS implementation program began with the signing of the Anti-Bribery Management System Policy by the President Commissioner and the President Director on April 30, 2020, which was then revised on August 24, 2020, followed by the signing of the Management Commitment of PT TIMAH Tbk by the Board of Directors and Commissioner, which is a form of the company's seriousness in implementing the Anti-Bribery Management System.
The series of implementation of the Anti-Bribery Management System began with the ISO 37001: 2016 Awareness training, preparation of the SMAP and Risk Register targets, ISO 37001: 2016 internal audit training and socialization through various communication media and Management review meetings which then on August 26 2020 PT TIMAH Tbk successfully obtained the SNI ISO 37001: 2016 Certificate for Anti-Bribery Management System which was validated through a certification conducted by SUCOFINDO as an independent institution according to KAN accreditation.

With the implementation of socialization and training, it is hoped that PT TIMAH Tbk's personnel will be able to know and understand the anti-corruption policies that apply in the Company and be committed to implementing the ABMS based on the 4 No's, namely:

  1. No Bribery (no bribery and extortion);
  2. No Kickback (may not receive commissions, gratitude both in cash and in other forms);
  3. No Gift (may not accept gifts or gratuities that are contrary to the rules and regulations);
  4. No Luxurious Hospitality (not allowed to do/receive excessive reception and reception).
