PANGKALPINANG -- Registration of New Learners (PPDB) for the PT Timah Pemali Boarding School Program Scholarship Class at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2024/2025 academic year was welcomed enthusiastically by students who would continue to Senior High School (SMA).
Since opening on March 1, 2025, 160 participants have registered, the registrants come from Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Riau Province and Riau Islands Province.
Every year the PT Timah scholarship class program is always welcomed enthusiastically by students, in 2024 as many as 211 participants registered in the PT Timah scholarship class program.

The PT Timah Scholarship Class Program at SMAN 1 Pemali has been started since 2000, has given birth to as many as 886 alumni who benefit from the free education program initiated by MIND ID Mining Industry Holding Members.
In this Scholarship Class PPDB, PT Timah will conduct a number of series of tests for participants, namely administrative selection, field surveys, academic potential tests, psychological tests, interviews, clinical psychological analysis and document validation and medical tests.
The PT Timah Tbk scholarship class program uses boarding with a dormitory system. Where scholarship recipients not only get educational scholarships but also living needs and school supplies.
PT Timah's Corporate Communication Department Head, Anggi Siahaan, said that the PT Timah Scholarship Class Program is a routine program implemented by the company to support the improvement of the quality of human resources in the mining area.
