Welcoming Its 49th Anniversary, PT Timah Tbk Holds Mass Circumcision for 100 Children in South Bangka

BANGKA SELATAN -- As part of the 49th Anniversary Commemoration Month, PT Timah Tbk once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting communities by organizing a mass circumcision event in one of its operational areas, Bangka Selatan Regency, on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

The mass circumcision, held at the Wasprod Division Office in South Bangka, was met with great enthusiasm from the local community. A total of 100 children participated in the event.

Carrying the theme "For the Red and White," the 49th Anniversary of PT Timah is marked by various social initiatives across the company's operational regions. Activities include blood donation drives, mass circumcisions, and free healthcare services.

In addition to receiving the circumcision service at no cost, participants were also given care packages from PT Timah Tbk as a form of appreciation and moral support.

The program received warm appreciation from the community. Ranita, a parent of one of the participants, expressed her gratitude for the support provided.

"This program is truly helpful, especially for families with limited income. Thank you, PT Timah. I hope the company continues to thrive and contribute to the community," she said.

Apriansyah, who accompanied a participant, echoed the sentiment. He praised the company's attention to the community’s needs.

"PT Timah is amazing. I hope programs like this continue and reach even more people," he said.

In addition to the mass circumcision, PT Timah also held a series of other social activities in Bangka Selatan Regency on Friday, August 1, 2025. These included a community clean-up, blood donation drive, and free health check-ups and medical services provided through PT Timah's Mobile Clinic.

Previously, the 49th Anniversary Commemoration Month had been held in other operational areas, such as Karimun Regency (Riau Islands), East Belitung Regency, and Bangka Regency. Now, it's Bangka Selatan’s turn to experience the benefits of this impactful social program.
