PANGKALPINANG -- As part of the Month of Service commemorating PT Timah’s 49th Anniversary, the company will provide free healthcare services through its Mobile Clinic for communities within its operational areas.
Carrying the theme “For the Red and White” PT Timah’s 49th anniversary activities will include a variety of social initiatives, including free healthcare services for the public.
The Mobile Clinic will serve communities across the Bangka Belitung Islands Province and the Riau Islands Province, in conjunction with other events under PT Timah’s Month of Service.
Through the Mobile Clinic, PT Timah will offer basic medical services, health consultations, free medication, and education on healthy lifestyles for local residents.
This free healthcare service reflects PT Timah’s ongoing commitment to improving public health. The Mobile Clinic has routinely traveled to remote villages, providing medical assistance to those in need.
PT Timah operates three Mobile Clinic units, stationed on Bangka Island, Kundur Island, and Belitung Island. In 2025 alone, the Mobile Clinic has already visited dozens of locations and served thousands of people.
PT Timah’s Department Head of Corporate Communication, Anggi Siahaan, stated that healthcare services are among several activities planned for the company’s Month of Service.
“In addition to the free healthcare services through the Mobile Clinic, the Month of Service will also include blood donation drives and mass circumcision programs for the community,” he said.
