PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah is holding various activities to commemorate National K3 Month 2024. National K3 Month activities are carried out in each of the Company's Operational Areas (Wulasi).
One of the K3 Month commemoration activities carried out by PT Timah is the K3 Apple. After being held in the two Wilasis of North Bangka and Kundur, Wilasi Belitung and the Processing and Smelting Division of PT Timah also held the K3 Call on Wednesday (7/2/2024).
Wilasi Belitung held a K3 Call at the Lenggang Tin Ore Warehouse Yard, East Belitung Regency, and the Processing and Smelting Division held a K3 Call at the Muntok Metallurgical Unit Yard, Bangka Regency.
The K3 roll call in each Operational Area was also attended by employees and stakeholders in the region. In Wilasi Belitung, for example, the K3 rally was also attended by the Head of the East Belitung Manpower, Cooperatives and MSMEs Service, Gustaf Pilandra.
In this K3 Apel, each Apel supervisor conveyed important messages from the Director of Risk Management and HSSE MIND ID regarding efforts to improve work safety, prevent work accidents, and cultivate a culture of K3 in carrying out work.
Apart from holding the rally, the Belitung operational area also signed the K3 Commitment regarding the target of zero fatality and zero serious injuries, Fatigue Alert emergency response simulation, Health Services in Healthy Cars, and Blood Donation.
Meanwhile, PT Timah's Processing and Smelting Division in this K3 Apple gave awards to participants in K3 Month competitions such as the 5 R Competition, Digital Poster Competition, and Safety Talk Video competition.
Head of the East Belitung Manpower, Cooperatives, and MSMEs Service, Gustaf Pilandra appreciated PT Timah Tbk for implementing the national K3 month commemoration in 2024.
He said that the K3 rally was not just ceremonial. But to remind you of the importance of work safety.
"The National K3 Month Ceremony is not just a ceremony, but reminds us all of the importance of work safety related to operations and production at PT Timah. We hope that in its implementation Zero Accidents when working in the field can be realized," he said.
He saw that the implementation of K3 at PT Timah in the Belitung Region was quite good. For this reason, he hopes that PT Timah will continue to be committed to implementing K3 culture in the company's production operations.
