PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Investasi Mineral (PT TIM) won six awards at the 2022 LACP Vision Awards international event held by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) in Florida, United States, Monday (28/8/2023).
PT TIM, which is a subsidiary of PT Timah Tbk, succeeded in winning six awards at once in this event. The award won was in the platinum category for the Company's integrated report in the 2022 fiscal year.
Second; Ranked 55th out of 100 companies with the highest scores in the world participating in this competition. Third; Ranked 5th out of 80 companies with the highest scores in the Asia Pacific region.
Fourth; Best Financial Report from the Asia Pacific Region in the Bronze category. Fifth; PT TIM is included in the top 20 companies in Indonesia with the best report books. Sixth; Technical Achievement Award for overall excellence in the art and methods of integrated report communication.
The 2022 LACP Visions Award is a prestigious award because many companies from 22 countries on four continents participated. Apart from that, the LACP Vision Awards, which have been held since 2001, are attended by participants from various well-known companies from various industries throughout the world every year.
There are at least ten assessment point indicators carried out by the organizers to determine the winners, namely; assessment of first impressions, report covers, letters to shareholders, report narratives, financial reports, creativity, message clarity, and information accessibility.
PT TIM Finance Director Ardiansyah said that this award was achieved due to creative, solution, and innovative teamwork in compiling the annual report book.
"Management feels proud of this achievement and of course, it is a motivation for us to continue to strive to improve the Company by implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) so that it is worthy of being presented in the Company's annual report," said Ardiansyah.
He hopes that this will also motivate PT TIM's management and people to improve the company's performance.
"Our motivation for competing through the LACP Vision Awards is to obtain feedback regarding the quality of the annual report prepared and that it can be improved in the following year. This also serves as motivation for employees to continue to improve the Company's performance, so that achievements exceed targets," he said. (*)
