PANGKALPINANG -- PT TIMAH Tbk continues to demonstrate its commitment as a state-owned mining company with a strategic role in contributing to national revenue. The company continues to strengthen its business fundamentals to enhance its contribution to the nation, the state, and the community.
As of the third quarter of 2025, PT TIMAH Tbk recorded state contributions through tax payments and Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) amounting to Rp1.053 trillion. This figure represents a significant increase compared to the same period in 2024, which reached only Rp473.705 billion.
This achievement shows that despite the dynamics of the global mining industry, PT TIMAH Tbk remains consistent in providing substantial contributions to state revenue while supporting national development.
These tax and PNBP contributions come from various components, including income tax, value-added tax, royalties, export duties, and production fees that the company is obligated to pay as a mining permit holder.
PT TIMAH Tbk’s contributions through taxes and PNBP also support revenue for producing regions through resource revenue-sharing from royalties.
Corporate Secretary of PT TIMAH Tbk, Rendi Kurniawan, stated that PT TIMAH Tbk is not only a producer of strategic mineral products but also ensures that its operational activities deliver real benefits to the state.
“As a mining company that represents the state, PT TIMAH Tbk has both a moral and legal obligation to maintain its level of contribution to the country. These PNBP and tax payments are concrete proof that PT TIMAH Tbk is not only managing natural resources but also returning value to the wider community,” he said.
Rendi added that PT TIMAH Tbk continues to improve compliance and effectiveness in financial management, in line with the principles of Good Mining Practice and sustainable corporate governance.
In addition to providing revenue to the state, the company also continues to strengthen its social contributions through Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs, ranging from education and health to MSME empowerment and environmental and cultural preservation.
Going forward, PT TIMAH Tbk is committed to maintaining this positive trend by strengthening its corporate fundamentals, improving operational efficiency, and increasing production.
“PT TIMAH Tbk aims not only to be a tin producer but also an essential part of the government's efforts to boost state revenue and strengthen the national economy,” Rendi concluded. (*)
