PANGKALPINANG -- Since it opened two weeks ago, hundreds of participants have registered for the PT Timah Pemali Boarding School Scholarship Program Class at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2024/2025 Academic Year.
New Student Registration (PPDB) for the Pemali Boarding School Scholarship Class at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2024/2025 Academic Year has started on April 1 and will close on April 25.
As of April 15, 2024, the number of applicants for the PT Timah scholarship class program at SMAN 1 Pemali has reached more than 100 people from Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Riau Province, Meranti Regency, and Riau Islands Province, Karimun Regency.
Every year this scholarship class program is always greeted enthusiastically by students, last year as many as 257 participants registered for the PT Timah scholarship class program.
PT Timah's Pemali Boarding School program targets junior high school students who have graduated to continue their education at the Senior High School (SMA) level at SMAN 1 Pemali.
The Pemali Boarding School program is intended for students who excel but are economically disadvantaged.
Just like the previous year, the number of students who will be accepted in 2024 is 36 students who are representatives from each region.
In this PPDB Scholarship Class, PT Timah will carry out a series of tests for participants, namely administrative selection, field surveys, academic potential tests, psychological tests, interviews, clinical psychology analysis, and document validation and health tests.
The Pemali Boarding School program, which has been implemented since 2000, has graduated around 851 alumni who have successfully taken part in various fields.
This educational scholarship class is an effort by members of the MIND ID PT Timah Mining Industry holding to improve the quality of human resources in the mining area and also reduce the school dropout rate.
