PANGKALPINANG — The PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk Scholarship Class Program at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2026/2027 academic year has been enthusiastically welcomed by students. Just two weeks after registration opened, around 100 students have already signed up to participate in the program.
Registration for the PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program opened on March 2 and will run until April 10, 2026. The New Student Admission System (SPMB) for the PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk Scholarship Class Program for the 2026/2027 academic year can be accessed at: https://spmb2026.beasiswatimah.com.
The PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program is one of the company’s commitments to support the improvement of education quality and the development of human resources, particularly for students in the company’s operational areas.
The students’ enthusiasm can be seen from the high number of applicants coming from various junior high schools in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province and the Riau Islands Province.
The PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program at SMAN 1 Pemali has been running since 2000 and has produced more than 800 alumni who are now active in various professional fields.
Through this program, PT TIMAH not only provides educational scholarships but also various supporting facilities, ranging from financial assistance for education to mentoring aimed at improving academic achievement and character development.
This educational scholarship is intended for high-achieving students from low-income families. This year, a total of 36 students will be accepted into the Scholarship Class Program.
Participants who apply to this program must go through several stages of selection, including administrative screening, field surveys, academic potential tests, psychological tests, interviews, clinical psychological analysis, document validation, and medical examinations.
“Through the Scholarship Class Program, PT TIMAH hopes to continue contributing to producing outstanding generations capable of competing nationally and globally toward the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045 and improving the quality of human resources,” said the Head of the Corporate Communication Department of PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk.
