WEST BANGKA -- Two members of PT Timah Tbk's security team who served at the Muntok Metallurgical Unit, West Bangka received an award as the Outstanding Security Guard from the West Bangka Police.
This award was received by Sugeng Setiawan and Milis Triadi in thanksgiving for the 42nd Anniversary of the Security Guard at the West Bangka Police Station, Monday (1/30/2022).
Sugeng Setiawan and Milis Triadi with four other security guards were awarded the outstanding security guard award for their dedication and duties as an independent security guards.
West Bangka Police Chief AKBP Catur Prasetyo read out the message from the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit in the framework of the 42nd Anniversary of Security Guards which carries the theme 'Synergy of Security Guards and Police, Caring for Others'.
On this occasion, he also conveyed important messages about the role of security guards who have helped and synergized with the police.
"As the Head of the Indonesian National Police, I wish all Security Unit personnel a Happy 42nd Birthday (Security) anywhere on duty. Hopefully, the security guard can be more professional in carrying out limited police functions and be more optimal in carry out the maintenance of public order and security on their own," said Catur while reading the remarks of the Indonesian National Police Chief.
On the 42nd anniversary of this security guard, the West Bangka Police Chief gave a cone to the oldest security guard, Sunaryosu, who was 103 years old, and the youngest security guard, Fitri, who was 20 years old.
"I am amazed, I appreciate the security guards who have shown their dedication to their duties to assist the police in their respective assignments," he said.
