SOUTH BANGKA -- During the Safari Ramadan event held by PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk in the South Bangka Area, the company shared happiness by providing assistance to Quran teachers and mosque caretakers across South Bangka Regency.
The assistance for mosque caretakers and Quran teachers was symbolically handed over during the Safari Ramadan event at the South Bangka Area Office last Friday by PT TIMAH’s Director of Business Development, Suhendra Yusuf Ratu Prawiranegara, Director of Operations Handy Geniardi, and Commissioner M. Hita Tunggal.
Previously, PT TIMAH had also provided similar assistance to mosque caretakers and Quran teachers in other operational areas such as Kundur, Bangka, West Bangka, and Belitung.
One of the recipients was Aizul Putra, a mosque caretaker who serves at Istiqomah Mosque in Simpang MD, Gadung Village, South Bangka Regency.
This assistance serves as a form of appreciation from the company for the role of mosque caretakers and Quran teachers, who have been maintaining the continuity of religious activities in the community, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
Aizul Putra admitted that he was touched and did not expect to be one of the recipients of the assistance from PT TIMAH. He said that he has been voluntarily dedicating himself to taking care of the mosque.
“I’m very happy and also surprised when I was informed by the neighborhood head. I didn’t expect to receive this assistance,” he said.
According to Aizul, activities at the mosque increase significantly during Ramadan. He also expressed his hope that PT TIMAH will continue to grow and keep providing benefits to the wider community.
“I hope PT TIMAH continues to succeed and keep sharing with the community,” he said.
