This commitment is realized through various Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL/CSR)programs designed sustainably to empower communities and improve their quality of life.
In implementing its CSR programs, PT TIMAH Tbk introduces a series of flagship initiatives that directly impact the public — covering areas such as economy, education, environment, and social welfare.
All these programs form part of the company’s strategy to achieve sustainable mining and improve community well-being.
Through the Micro and Small Business Funding Program (PUMK), PT TIMAH Tbk supports economic empowerment, especially for MSMEs, to help them grow and become more competitive. Activities include financial management training, capital assistance, and promotional support.
To further promote people’s economy, PT TIMAH Tbk also develops assisted cooperatives, in line with the government’s “Koperasi Merah Putih” initiative.
PT TIMAH Tbk also places strong emphasis on the education sector. Through scholarship programs such as Pemali Boarding School, teacher training, internships for students, and the improvement of educational facilities, the company contributes to enhancing the quality of human resources in support of Indonesia Emas 2045.
