The series of activities for the Month of Service to celebrate PT Timah Tbk's 48th anniversary officially ended Thursday, July 11, 2024. The symbolic closing which took place at the Graha Timah building, Pangkalpinang head office, was marked by the handing over of aid to children participating in the mass circumcision by the Managing Director PT Timah Tbk Ahmad Dani Virsal together with some stakeholders in Kep Province. Bangka Belitung and Pangkalpinang City.
Previously, some activities in the form of mass circumcisions, blood donations, social assistance, and Healthy Cars had been held in several operational areas of PT Timah Tbk, namely on Bangka Island, including the Toboali, Mentok, Matras, and Sungailiat areas. The East Belitung region, it is centered in Manggar City, continued in the Rangsang area, Meranti Regency, Riau Islands Province, then in Jakarta, and ends in Pangkalpinang City.
During the series of mass circumcision and blood donation activities, the PT Timah Tbk medical team in collaboration with the medical team and the Indonesian Red Cross in each activity area succeeded in circumcising 892 children, collecting 389 blood bags, and providing Healthy Car health services to 593 residents who had their health checked.
In his closing remarks, the President Director of PT Timah Tbk conveyed a moral message that the implementation of PT Timah's Month of Service is essentially a form of harmony and synergy with the community and stakeholders.
"Through this activity, let us always strengthen our bonds of togetherness to support and inspire each other," said the Managing Director.
