KARIMUN -- To support the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday in Teluk Uma Village, PT Timah Tbk assisted the Bina Taqwa Foundation, Teluk Uma Village, Tebing District, Karimun Regency, Friday (14/10/2022).
In conjunction with the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which was held at Surau At-Taqwa, it was filled with various activities such as Salawat and tausiah.
The head of the activity, Firman said, this activity is a routine that is carried out every year.
Besides being filled with Tausiyah, the commemoration of the Prophet's Birthday was also filled with haircuts for children under five and religious competitions that had previously been held.
"Hopefully, with activities like this, we can increase our piety to Allah SWT and also continue and carry out His orders as the Great Prophet Muhammad SAW has exemplified," he said.
Firman conveyed that on behalf of the entire committee and management of At-Taqwa surau, he appreciated PT Timah Tbk for paying attention to the success of this activity so that it could run smoothly.
"We hope that PT Timah can continue to pay attention to activities like this. So that people can continue to maintain traditional cultural traditions so that they are not lost by time. That way the company also takes part in preserving traditions," said Firman.
