TINS Welcomes the IDX Representative Office of Bangka Belitung for a Visit to PT Timah Tbk

PANGKALPINANG – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Representative Office of Bangka Belitung organized a Visit Emiten program to PT Timah Tbk (TINS).

The visit was hosted by Abdullah Umar Baswedan, Corporate Secretary of PT Timah, accompanied by Dian Rachmandani, Department Head of Investor Relations, at the main meeting room of PT Timah Tbk on Monday (02/12/2024).

This event is a routine agenda of the IDX Representative Office of Bangka Belitung, aimed at disseminating capital market information to investors across the IDX investment galleries in Bangka Belitung.

Fahmi Al Kahfi, Head of the IDX Representative Office of Bangka Belitung, expressed to the investors at the IDX Investment Gallery of Bangka Belitung the importance of learning directly from an issuer based in Bangka Belitung, namely PT Timah with the issuer code TINS.

“This is a significant opportunity for investors at the IDX Investment Gallery of Bangka Belitung to understand and study how an issuer conducts its business operations. We are fortunate that in Bangka Belitung, we have a local issuer, PT Timah Tbk,” he said.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Umar Baswedan, PT Timah's corporate secretary, stated that PT Timah must always prioritize accountability in its business operations as a business entity with 65% of its shares owned by MIND ID Mining Holding and 35% by the public.

“All company performance information is provided under regulations through our official company website. This is PT Timah’s commitment as a public company to uphold accountability and maintain shareholders' trust,” he explained.

The visit was successfully conducted, as seen from the participants' enthusiasm in the discussion to gather information about the issuer 'TINS'. The event was concluded with a group photo and the exchange of souvenirs from PT Timah Tbk to the IDX Representative Office of Bangka Belitung. (*)
