BELITUNG TIMUR – Healthy cars of PT Timah Tbk in the last three weeks toured Belitung Island to provide free health services for the people of Belitung and East Belitung Regencies.
After visiting seven places serving about 600 residents, PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car trip on Belitung Island this time ended in Selinsing Village, Hanging District, Thursday (10/28/2021).
The car that is brought directly from Pangkalpinang City will return to Bangka Island. However, in the future PT Timah Tbk will provide healthy cars of PT Timah Tbk which will settle in Belitung Island to provide regular health services for the community.
This time, the health service using PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car in Selinsing Village was also attended by the Deputy Regent of East Belitung Khairil Anwar, Hang Yusmawandi Sub-district, Danramil Captain Inf Hermansyah, Bhabinkamtibmas Bribka Yoan Apriansyah, Selinsing Village Head Harianto, PT Timah CSR Division Head Adam Darmawan and Head Sigit Prabowo's Belitung Production Unit.
Vice Regent of East Belitung, Khairil Anwar this time also conducted a health examination at Mobil Sehat PT Timah Tbk which is equipped with medical personnel and also provides medicines for the community.
"The point is that we the Local Government very welcome the existence of this healthy car, hopefully, this car can reach the location in the corners of Belitung Island," said Khairil Anwar.
He hopes, in the future, Mobil Sehat PT Timah Tbk routinely comes to the citizens, his party also invites PT Timah Tbk to continue to collaborate in providing services to the community, especially health services.
"At least the CSR of PT Timah Tbk has been felt by the community, moreover PT Timah plans to hold such a car for the special Belitung Island," he explained.
The Head of Selinsing Harianto Village said the presence of this healthy car was attended by about 100 people because the public interest in participating in this activity was quite large.
According to him, Mobil Sehat PT Timah Tbk has helped bring health services closer to the community, because the distance of health services available is about 4 kilometers from their village.
"Hopefully this program continues to be sustainable because public health is very important. We thank the ranks of PT Timah Tbk, for carrying out this program because health is important, we hope this continues," he said.
The presence of PT Timah Tbk Healthy Car was also welcomed by the community, Sukirman one of the residents of Selumar Hamlet said he was greatly helped by health services provided for free. "The treatment in the car was very comfortable, very happy for us and grateful, the officers were also friendly and kind," he said.
Similarly, Jeliha said healthy car service is very good, comfort is also obtained in the service of the car. "This program is good, let alone treatment for the community, and hopes this continues," said Jeliha's grandmother. (**)
