Thousands of People Take Advantage of Free Health Services from PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car

PANGKALPINANG -- The free health examination and consultation service provided by PT Timah Tbk through Healthy Cars or Oto Sehat has been felt by thousands of people in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province and Riau Islands Province.

Mobil Sehat is a pick-up and drop-off health service to bring health services closer to the community in the company's operational areas. This Healthy Car is part of PT Timah Tbk's CSR to improve the quality of public health.

From January 2022 to October 2022, PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car service visited 27 points with a total of 2,418 people receiving services.

In the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands, this TINS-coded issuer visited 25 Hamlet and Village points to provide health services with a total of 2,293 people served.

In 2022, TINS ??has even added a fleet of Healthy Cars to increase the reach of health services. Where the new fleet is stationed on Belitung Island.

Meanwhile, in the Riau Islands Province, health services are not carried out in the Healthy Car, but in the Ex-Kawilasi Building of PT TIMAH Tbk, Tebing District, and in Kundur Barat District, it is carried out in the Multipurpose Building of the Kundur Village Office. The number of people who seek treatment is 125 people.

A resident of Belo Laut Village, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency Asia (81), a resident of Belo Laut hamlet 2, said he was happy to get free health services from PT Timah's Health Car.

"This is what we want, health services that come directly to the community. Moreover, like an old grandmother, PT Timah's Health Car activity is quite helpful. Come here often so that it's easy for grandma to seek treatment," he said.

In the same vein, the Head of Permis Village, South Bangka Regency, Yuspongo said that their community was very enthusiastic about having their health checked at PT Timah Tbk's Health Car. They feel helped because the community can get closer to health services.

"The people of Permis Village are very enthusiastic and eager to get free medical treatment from PT Timah Tbk. This is the first time that a company has provided free medical treatment for residents. Usually, residents seek treatment from health centers and paramedics," he said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Regent of East Belitung, Khairil Anwar, said that the TINS ??Healthy Car is PT Timah Tbk's commitment to providing health services for the community.

"This is proof that PT Timah Tbk cares about public health," said Khairil as quoted from previous reports.

He said that the East Belitung Regency Government appreciated PT Timah Tbk's steps to assist health services and hoped that this activity would continue.

"We collaborate so that we can reach people who are far from the Puskesmas, especially to serve the elderly. We welcome PT Timah Tbk's good intentions," he said.
