PANGKALPINANG -- Thousands of residents of the city of Pangkalpinang and its surroundings flocked to the office of PT Timah Tbk to take part in the Healthy Week of PT Timah Tbk in commemoration of the Company's 47th Anniversary which was held at the Head Office of PT Timah Tbk in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands Province on Sunday (6/ 8/2023).
The PT Timah Tbk Healthy Week series of activities in Pangkalpinang, namely the Fun Walk and the 10K Run Race, were enthusiastically welcomed by the public and runners.
The 47th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk carries the theme 'Harmony and Hard Work'. At this moment PT Timah Tbk shares happiness with the community.
President Director of PT Timah Tbk Ahmad Dani Virsal together with the Acting Governor of Bangka Belitung Suganda Pandapotan Pasaribu and the Head of the Bangka Belitung Regional Police Inspector General of Police Yan Southeast Sulawesi along with the Bangka Belitung Regional Leadership Coordination Forum directly sent off thousands of Fun Walk participants who will take a route of about 3 Km.
Apart from being attended by the general public, PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Week was also attended by the BUMN Babel Forum, Kabinda Babel, Danrem Representatives, Danlanal Babel, Danlanud Babel, Head of BPKP Babel Representative and Prosecutor's Office Babel.
Not only participating in the Fun Walk and Run Race, but the participants were also enthusiastic about carrying out a free health check at PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car.
Dozens of PT Timah Tbk's fostered MSME partners participate in marketing their products such as culinary, fashion, and handicrafts.
President Director of PT Timah Tbk, Ahmad Dani Virsal said this Healthy Week was a routine activity carried out in the framework of the Company's 47th Anniversary. Through this activity, it is also hoped that it can contribute to the health of the community.
Not only in Pangkalpinang, according to Dani, but this activity will also be held in three other areas in South Bangka, Belitung, and Kundur.
"This activity is a series of activities for the Company's 47th Anniversary. As a form of gratitude to the Creator and sharing happiness with the community, this is also our effort to nourish the community with Healthy Week. We will do this again. Please pray and support PT Timah Tbk. will continue to grow," he said.
He appreciated the enthusiasm of the people who took part in PT Timah Tbk's Health Week activities. On this occasion, he hopes for the support of all the people for the glory of PT Timah Tbk.

Earlier we visited the fostered partner MSMEs and they said that it was beyond expectations because at 9 o'clock the merchandise had run out. The Acting Governor of Bangka Belitung, Suganda Pandapotan Pasaribu, said that many members of the public and the Bangka Belitung Regional Government Coordination Forum (Forkompinda) were present as a form of support for PT Timah Tbk to continue to progress and be successful.

According to him, activities like this should be encouraged to motivate people to adopt a healthy life.
"Based on data from 300 children, only 2 are fit. To welcome 2045, we need to promote activities like this to motivate children to exercise so they can be healthy. Once again, we congratulate PT Timah Tbk for continuing to be victorious in building the nation and the country," he said.
During the Healthy Week activity, PT Timah Tbk also distributed hundreds of prizes to the lucky people. Prizes distributed include electronic equipment, entertainment prizes and one electric motorbike unit.
The participants also seemed to mingle enjoying the strains of entertainment music in this PT Timah Tbk Healthy Week activity.
One participant, Yana, said that she and her family deliberately participated in the PT Timah Tbk Healthy Week to exercise and enjoy the event.
"My family and I deliberately take part in this activity, usually on Sundays we go to public places to exercise. Now, when there is an event at PT Timah Tbk, we participate in sports while participating in the event. The event is also fun and we can also be healthy," he said.
He hopes that activities like this can be held frequently because apart from being healthy, it can also become a gathering place.

Shely Aprilia (19), a resident of Semabung Lama, Pangkalpinang, who won the grand prize of an electric motorbike at the 47th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk, never thought she would get the main prize at this Healthy Week.
She even looked confused when he went on stage while holding the number in his hand. Shely's lottery number was read directly by the President Director of PT Timah Tbk, Ahmad Dani Virsal.
"I don't have any feelings at all. Because all this time, if I take a healthy walk, I've never been lucky. This is the new one who is lucky to get a motorbike. It's a bit unbelievable that I wanted to go home even though I couldn't get it. But I waited until I finally got a prize. I can't describe words," she said.
She said this electric motorbike will be used to go to campus. The reason is that he is just about to become a student at the University of Bangka Belitung.
Shely and her two family members left home at 6 am so they could get the Healthy Week coupons.

In the same vein, another participant, Sari, said that she really enjoyed PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Week activities.

PT Timah Tbk's fostered partners also felt blessings at the PT Timah Tbk Healthy Week event in Pangkalpinang which was held at the PT Timah Tbk Head Office, Sunday (6/8/2023).
One of PT Timah Tbk's Development Partners, Sundari, said that he brought a lot of food products, such as shrimp pempek and various other snacks.
"Alhamdulillah, an activity like this is a blessing for us because the people are busy, and then people usually come to shop. I brought 400 sticks of pempek prawns today. This is also great enthusiasm for shopping," she said.
She said, as fostered partners of PT Timah Tbk they are often involved in various corporate events so that they can increase their turnover.
Apart from culinary, various products of other fostered partners such as fashion, handicrafts, batik, and crafts were also marketed in this activity.
The main director of PT Timah Tbk, Ahmad Dani Virsal, together with the guests, also took part in observing the stands for MSME players.
One of the other Foster Partners, Apri Yuliani said they were very happy to be involved by PT Timah Tbk in this activity.
