Ahead of Eid al-Adha 1442, PT Timah Tbk will again hand over sacrificial cows to a number of the company's operational areas spread across the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Riau, and the Riau Archipelago.
This year, PT Timah distributed 203 cows which will be distributed to Bangka Island as many as 145 heads, Belitung and East Belitung as many as 26 heads and Karimun and Kundur as many as 32 heads. This number increased compared to last year as many as 193 tails.
The sacrificial cows will be distributed to mosques and related stakeholders, so that later the benefits can be felt by the community around the company's operational areas.
Head of Corporate Communications at PT Timah Tbk, Anggi Siahaan, said that on Bangka Island the sacrificial cows would be handed over to several regencies/cities such as Pangkalpinang, Bangka, West Bangka, Central Bangka and South Bangka.
Meanwhile, in Belitung Island, it will be handed over to Belitung and East Belitung Regencies. For the Riau and Riau Islands, it will be handed over to Kundur, Karimun and Meranti.
