The Orphans at the Al Muhajirin Kundur Foundation Enthusiastically Participate in PT Timah Tbk's Social Service in the Context of MIND ID's 5th Anniversary

TANJUNG BATU -- Dozens of orphans and orphans at the Al Muhajirin Foundation look enthusiastic about participating in the Social Service held by PT Timah Tbk in commemoration of MIND ID's 5th Anniversary.

The social service which was held at the Al Muhajirin Foundation in Dwikora, Tanjung Batu Village, Kundur District was also attended by the Director of Operations and Production of PT Timah Tbk, Purwoko, Friday (11/11/2022).

On this occasion, Purwoko hopes that this Social Service can help and benefit the foundation and the orphans.

"We are grateful and happy to be able to share happiness with the orphanage children in commemoration of MIND ID's 5th anniversary. Because PT Timah Tbk is part of MIND ID which has the mandate to manage natural resources to support the progress of the nation and state," he said.

Purwoko said that this social service was carried out in PT Timah Tbk's five operational areas.

"This social service is a form of MIND ID's commitment to provide the widest possible benefit to the community, especially in the operational area. We ask for prayers, so that PT Timah Tbk and MIND ID can continue to give their best to manage natural resources, in order to realize community welfare. ," he continued.

Meanwhile, the child of the Al-Muhajirin Orphanage, Burhanudin (16) said, he was very happy with this social service activity. The reason is, some of the school equipment they have is already damaged and can no longer be used.

"Alhamdulillah, I am very happy and helpful. I will immediately use the assistance to study because some of my school equipment has been damaged," said the SMA N I Kundur student.

In the same vein, the Foundation Management and caretakers of the Umi Kalsum Orphanage said, they coached approximately 48 fostered children from those who have not gone to school to children who are already in high school.

So far, they don't have permanent donors, so they still take advantage of help from the surrounding community.

"We thank PT Timah Tbk for the assistance that has been given to the children of the Orphanage. This assistance is very useful in alleviating their school needs," he said.
