BANGKA – Even though it was raining, it did not dampen the public's enthusiasm in participating in the Month of Service to welcome PT Timah's 48th anniversary which took place at the Bangka Citra Lestari Building, Matras Village, Sungailiat District, Bangka Regency, Tuesday (09/07/2024).
Hundreds of residents came to the location where PT Timah's Month of Service was held to take part in mass circumcisions, blood donations and health checks at the PT Timah Healthy Car.
The enthusiasm of the residents for participating in PT Timah's Month of Service which was held in Sungailiat District was conveyed by the Head of Sinar Jaya Jelutung Village, Ahmad Husein Pamulung.
Ahmad said that the enthusiasm of their residents was extraordinary, especially since the mass circumcision activities that the community needed were carried out at the same time as the school holidays. This makes things easier for residents.
"Our sub-district has a population of 50 mass circumcision participants, but our community's interest is very high. Thank God, we conveyed this to PT Timah and we were able to increase the quota to 80 children. This is very helpful for our community," he said.
"Many thanks to PT Timah for carrying out mass circumcisions, health checks and also blood donations, which have been carried out," he said.
He hopes that PT Timah's activities can continue to be carried out so that more and more people will be helped by PT Timah's Month of Service program.
"Hopefully at the age of 48 PT Timah Tbk can continue to be prosperous, successful and can continue to collaborate to provide services to the community," he hoped.
Meanwhile, Matras Village Head Chari Yulianto
appreciated PT Timah's Month of Service activities because they were very beneficial for the community. Moreover, the current economic conditions are declining. The presence of PT Timah with its Month of Service program is of great benefit to the community.
“Apart from that, this is a service to the community. We, as an extension of the Bangka Regency Government, feel very helped. "Moreover, this is in the health sector, including blood donations, mass circumcisions, and also free health checks in PT Timah's Healthy Cars," said Chari.
He hopes that PT Timah Tbk can continue to carry out activities like this in various other areas.
"This is a real form of PT Timah Tbk's presence in action and collaboration with the government and of course for the benefit of society," he said.
