PANGKALPINANG – PT Timah Tbk's Futsal Team won second place in the Futsal Worker's League Championship held by the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Labor Office, Friday (28/4/2023).
The activity held for three days from April 26-28 was attended by sixteen teams from various companies in Bangka Belitung.
The Assistant for General Administration of the Bangka Belitung Provincial Government, Yunan Helmi, said that this activity could foster a spirit of sportsmanship among all workers in Bangka Belitung.
“In activities like this, we want healthy workers to have healthy souls in their bodies. Later it will lead to improving their performance and productivity in the future so that the companies where they work can also benefit from these conditions," said Yunan.
Not only that, but Yunan also really appreciates the support and participation of PT Timah Tbk in holding the Futsal League.
"We also really appreciate PT Timah, which has been extraordinary in helping this activity, so that it is carried out well," he said.
"Apart from that, we also congratulate the winners, where PLN won first place and of course also PT Timah, which won second place this year," he continued.
He hopes that activities like this can continue to be carried out every year, and at the moment of Labor Day, he also hopes that the workers can continue to be enthusiastic.
"To our fellow workers, keep up the enthusiasm and keep on working well, and think of the company where our friends work as ours. With this sense of belonging, of course, it will have an impact on us too. Because after all, by serving the company, of course, we want to move forward," he said.
