EAST BELITUNG - Batch III 2023 Bakti BUMN Volunteers in East Belitung Regency have taken place. Starting their activities, they immediately handed over assistance to the community in Baru Village, East Belitung Regency, Wednesday (8/3/2023).
The Bakti BUMN Volunteer Program is a BUMN collaboration activity in the framework of implementing the BUMN Social and Environmental Responsibility Program for Indonesia which will be held on 7-10 March 2023.
Member of the Indonesian Mining Industry holding MIND ID PT Timah Tbk became the PIC of the implementation of the BUMN Service for East Belitung in Baru Village, Manggar District.
The opening of the SOE Service Volunteers was also attended by the East Belitung Regent Burhanudin, Manggar Sub-District Head Heri Susanto, DLH Beltim Representative Iskandar Zulkarnaen, Air Force Chief Erwin Joniarta, Manggar Heri Marine Danpos, Head of New Village Husnul Khalik, SOE representatives in Belitung which took place at the Baru Village ball field, Manggar, Wednesday (08/03/2023).
Prior to the official opening, the people of Desa Baru and the East Belitung Bakti BUMN Volunteers carried out morning exercises and were given a raffle prize by the BUMN, namely PT Timah Tbk.
East Belitung Regent Burhanudin, appreciated and thanked BUMN for being present in Baru Village, Manggar, East Belitung. He hopes that this activity can be useful for society.
"We are grateful to BUMN and we pray that BUMM will always be victorious and develop together with the people," he said.
In addition, he explained, the presence of SOEs in Beltim could continue to make a direct contribution to society.
"For PT Timah Tbk, Bank Mandiri, and PLN as well as those in other Belitung, hopefully, they will continue to synergize and build this area together," he explained.
After the opening of the activity, BUMN Bakti Volunteers immediately distributed assistance in the form of fans to 11 TPAs ??in Baru Village and lawn mowers for Al-Hidjrah Surau, Assalam Hamlet.
Then, football from the Minister of BUMN for SSB in Desa Baru and football for galanita Baru Village.
The assistance was welcomed by the Baru Village community, including the Head of the Ramadhan TPA Unit, Arman Jaya, who was very grateful for the assistance, because it was very useful in teaching and learning activities at the TPA.
"Our hope is that it doesn't end here so that BUMN continues to support religious activities in this Baru Village," he said.
In the same vein, SSB Putra Baru Advisor, Baru Village, Syahriadi was also grateful for the football assistance, and the children will use it during practice later.
Because at this time and in the current conditions, they really need that football.
"Currently we still lack football, because in SSB there are a lot of around 50 members," he explained.
He explained, the age group in SSB ranged from 5 years to 16 years old, while many achievements in SBB included 12-year-olds who won 1st place at the Beltim Regency level and entered the top 8 in the tournament on Bangka Island yesterday.
Then, in their 14-year-old group, they won 2nd place in the central league of the Belitung zone.
"We hope that BUMN, namely PT Timah Tbk here, can continue to support them in carrying out the training later," he said.
A total of 10 companies participated in the Beltim BUMN Service, namely PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, PT Kereta Api Indonesia, PT State Electricity Company, PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk, PT Kimia Farma, PT Bio Farma, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, PT Indonesian Credit Guarantee, PT Pertamina International Refinery.
