JAKARTA -- PT Timah Tbk (TINS) won the 2023 Subroto Award in the field of Non-Tax State Revenue from Minerals and Coal in the Compulsory Payer category with the Compulsory Payer category with the Highest Level of PNBP Payment Compliance from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
The Subroto Award is the highest award given by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to stakeholders who have performed the best in advancing the ESDM sector within one year.
PT Timah Tbk Corporate Secretary Abdullah Umar received the 2023 Subroto Award directly from the Acting Director General of Mineral and Coal of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Bambang Suswantono at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta at the peak night of the 2023 Subroto award, Friday (29/9/2023).
In 2022, the Issuer Coded TINS ??also won the Subroto award in the Field of Effective Mineral and Coal Mining Technology Innovation towards Net Zero Emission (NZE).
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif said the Subroto Award was the peak event in commemoration of the 78th Mining Day.
"This award is the highest award given by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to stakeholders who have performed the best in the energy and mineral resources sector in the past year," he said.
Arifin Tasrif conveyed the importance of developing clean energy, this is because rising temperatures, climate change, pollution and fires are serious problems that must be addressed immediately.
"Hopefully the Subroto Award will contribute to the development of energy and minerals and encourage innovation for the development of clean energy. Congratulations to the award recipients, hopefully they can motivate stakeholders to increase productivity and performance in encouraging the ESDM sector," he said.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Dadan Kusdiana said that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources gave appreciation to 62 winners from 14 award fields within the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
He hopes that this award will motivate and increase the community's contribution in overseeing government performance as well as advancing the ESDM sector.
