PANGKALPINANG – As part of its commitment to supporting youth development, PT Timah facilitated the Masa Penerimaan Anggota Baru (MAPABA) event organized by the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) Pangkalpinang City Branch, through the PMII Commissariat Board of Citra Delima Institute.
The MAPABA event, themed "Empowering Gen Z to Carve Future Leadership Pathways," was held at the Tins Millennials Hub of PT Timah Tbk in Pangkalpinang City on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
The event, which carried the theme "Empowering Gen Z to Carve Future Leadership Pathways," was attended by the Chairman of PMII Pangkalpinang City Branch, Akbar Iza Fadillah, and his team.
Revina, the event chairperson, expressed hope that the program would serve as a platform to cultivate high-quality leaders who can compete effectively, particularly in campus environments.
"Hopefully, this event will continue to have a wide-reaching impact in developing students' leadership qualities at the university level," she said.
Similarly, Santia, Chairman of the PMII Commissariat of Citra Delima Institute, emphasized the importance of students participating in both intra- and extracurricular activities to find platforms for personal development.
She also appreciated PT Timah Tbk for facilitating and supporting their activities.
"I am deeply grateful to PT Timah Tbk for facilitating this event. I hope that in the future, PMII and PT Timah Tbk can collaborate on various programs," said Santia.
Akbar, Chairman of PMII Pangkalpinang City Branch, praised the organizing committee for successfully delivering an inspiring and energetic event.
