This time, PT TIMAH Tbk distributed a steam cleaning machine to Afriani Siska (44), the owner of the poultry business CV Karima Amanah Sejahtera, one of PT TIMAH’s foster partners located in Tua Tunu Subdistrict, Pangkalpinang.
The poultry business has become one of the most promising ventures in line with the growing market demand. In addition to supplying traders in traditional markets, poultry distribution now reaches food stalls and restaurants.
Afriani said that the steam machine has been very helpful for her business operations, especially in maintaining the cleanliness of chicken crates and operational vehicles.
“Alhamdulillah, since we got this machine, the employees’ work has become faster and cleaner. Most of them even enjoy their tasks when it involves using water,” she said with a smile.
According to her, cleanliness is essential in running a poultry processing business. Every time she picks up chicken supplies from distributors, both the crates and the delivery vehicles must be kept clean.
“I submitted a proposal for this steam machine because it was really needed. This machine helps us a lot in maintaining cleanliness in the processing area,” Afriani explained.
She added that this was not the first time she had received support from PT TIMAH Tbk. Previously, she also received a business loan from the company to help grow her poultry business.
