PANGKALPINANG -- To support young talents from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, PT Timah is holding watch parties (nobar) at three locations for Shabrina Leanor, who is competing in the Grand Final of Indonesian Idol.
The watch parties hosted by PT Timah will take place in Pangkalpinang City at Tomoro, in East Belitung Regency at Teras Manggar, and in Bangka Regency at the PT Timah EOE Division Office in Sungailiat. The event will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 7:30 PM WIB.
The Grand Final watch parties are open to the public to support Shabrina Leanor, a singer from East Belitung. Everyone is welcome to join the excitement and show their support at the designated locations.
Last week, PT Timah also organized a watch party in Pangkalpinang City. These gatherings will feature exciting prizes for attendees.
PT Timah Tbk's Department Head of Corporate Communication, Anggi Siahaan, said that the event is held in collaboration with the Timah Employee Association, PT Timah’s TINS Agent, the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) of East Belitung Regency, the Manggar District Government, and the Association of Modern Musicians.
Anggi stated that this watch party is not just about entertainment but also reflects the company’s commitment to advancing human resources, especially among the local younger generation.
"We hope that the moral support from the community can be a great source of strength for young talents like Shabrina to perform with confidence and pride. Shabrina represents the spirit, talent, and hard work of the youth in this region," said Anggi.
He expressed his hope that Shabrina’s achievement in representing Bangka Belitung on a national stage would inspire other young people to keep creating and striving for success in various fields.
Previously, PT Timah had also supported Shabrina’s journey by helping to facilitate her performances and providing support for her family to watch her live at the studio.
"Let’s support Shabrina by voting as much as we can, to help our young local talent make history and inspire future generations," Anggi concluded.
