Still, in the moment of Ramadhan 1445 Hijriah, PT Timah handed over assistance to the Tahfizul Qur'an Darul Muhlasin Islamic Boarding School on Jalan Kobel Darat, Sawang Laut Village, West Kundur District, Karimun Regency.
This assistance was handed over directly by the Head of the Kundur Operations Area, Wiyono, who was also witnessed by the Director of Operations and Production of PT Timah, Nur Adi Kuncoro, during the PT Timah Ramadhan Safari at the Wisma Kundur Multipurpose Building last weekend.
Apart from assisting Islamic boarding schools, PT Timah also assists with medical costs for people in need.
Nurizah Salsabila, one of the female students from the Tahfizul Qur'an Darul Muhlasin Islamic Boarding School, who has completed 21 juz of tahfizd, expressed her gratitude to PT Timah for the assistance given to them.
“I feel happy and happy to receive this assistance. Moreover, I will soon be celebrating Eid al-Fitr so I feel helped. "This assistance certainly means a lot to me and other friends, with this assistance, I can use it to buy my needs without having to ask my parents again," he said.
Meanwhile, the caretaker of the Tahfizul Qur'an Darul Muhlasin Islamic Boarding School, Ustadz Samsul, expressed his appreciation to PT Timah for continuing to show its concern for supporting the progress of religious education, especially for its students who are currently studying.
"We hope that assistance like this will motivate our children to become more enthusiastic in memorizing the Qur'an and be able to understand the contents and content of the Qur'an. "So that in the future the values ??of the Qur'an can be applied in everyday life for the benefit of people's lives," he said.
This statement was also conveyed by Haryanto (52), who received assistance from PT Timah. Haryanto himself is a PHL (casual daily worker) who has worked for approximately fourteen years.
According to him, this assistance is very meaningful for him and his family because currently, he is the backbone of the family in meeting their daily needs. He was very grateful to get help and attention from the company.
“I will use this assistance for my child's medical expenses as well as for daily needs. I understand the current condition of the company, but the company is still able to provide a glimmer of light for me and my family.
