Supporting Ramadan Activities at Mosques, PT Timah Tbk Hands Over Aid to Three Mosques

SOUTH BANGKA – Not only donating food packages and donations for orphans, PT Timah Tbk also provided assistance for mosques in the company's operational areas. Assistance to these mosques to support mosque activities during the month of Ramadan.

PT Timah Tbk also handed over aid to three mosques in the South Bangka Region, namely Al Ikhsan Mosque on Jalan Jend Sudirman, the Abu Bakar Ash Shiddiq Teladan Mosque and
Al Hasanah Mosque, Dusun Satu Payak Seruk, Tepus Village.

The mosque administrators also appreciated the assistance for this mosque, because this assistance can support mosque activities during the month of Ramadan.

Chairman of the Al Ikhsan Gunawal Mosque said that his party was grateful for the assistance from PT Timah Tbk. According to him, this is not the only time that PT Timah Tbk has given aid for their mosque.

“Alhamdulillah, with this assistance, PT Timah Tbk has always been a partner in providing assistance to the community. We are grateful that Aasjid Al Ikhsan is quite old, it was also built with the help of PT Timah. This assistance will be used for Ramadan activities at the mosque," he said.

He considered that PT Timah had consistently shown its concern for the community through various social programs carried out.

"We believe that PT Timah Tbk in the social aspect of the community provides a lot of assistance to the community, PT Timah Tbk is also one of the supporters of development in Basel," he said.

Similarly, Dian Renata, who is the chairman of the Muhibbul Khoir Toboali Foundation which currently manages the Abu Bakar Ash Shiddiq Mosque, said that this assistance from PT Timah Tbk will be used to support Ramadan activities at the mosque.

“There are activities at the mosque during Ramadan such as iktikaf and others. If there is any remaining, it will be used to help build a mosque. Because currently the mosque is only 60 percent completed," he said.*
