The Micro Small Business Funding program is distributed to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises actors in the company's operational areas in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands, Riau Province, and Riau Islands Province.

He said that throughout 2021 PT Timah Tbk had disbursed Rp 22.5 billion for the Micro Small Business Funding program. This revolving fund is expected to be able to become independent and develop the businesses of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises actors.

"During the Covid-19 pandemic like this, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises actors are one of the backbones to drive the society's economy. I hope that the society can take advantage of the program to maintain and develop businesses during this pandemic," he said.

He also reminded Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises actors to carry out the responsibility for returning this revolving fund, so that this program can continue to other Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises actors.

"Don't have the intention of not carrying out obligations, these funds continue to roll if they are not paid later they can't roll. We hope that this program will continue and have an impact on the community," he said.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Bangka Belitung Energy and Mineral Resources Office, Yulius, appreciated PT Timah Tbk for consistently distributing its Corporate Social Responsibility through various programs such as Micro Small Business Funding

"We are very proud that PT Timah has returned to channel funds for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises actors, the funds channeled are very helpful. Our only message is that what has been helped can be useful, if you get a loan of 20 million for a business, don't buy a motorbike," he said.

According to him, this program provides several conveniences for business actors, from the lack of administrative services and others. For this reason, he hopes that the fostered partners can make the best use of this program.

One of the fostered partners, Nurhayati, a resident of Pangkalpinang City who is in the business of distributing LPG gas, by becoming a foster partner of PT Timah Tbk, she wants to be able to develop her business, so that the surrounding community will also find it easier to get LPG gas.

"I see that there are no LPG distribution points in the vicinity of this housing, where the people there are also underprivileged people, so I thought of starting this business to make it easier for them to get LPG," he said.

He admitted that the partner program from PT Timah Tbk was very beneficial for the smooth running of his business, especially in terms of helping people in need.

“We feel very grateful because we have benefited greatly from this program, which means that PT Timah Tbk cares about the society. Because the business that is being carried out is also for the society, especially for those in need," he said.

Similarly, Rosnani (43) a resident of Bangka Regency said that he accessed a capital loan from PT Timah Tbk to develop a business selling toys and photo printing in Sungailiat City Center.

"I have a photo printing business and a toy shop, thank God, even though during the pandemic this business didn't have much impact. That's why I want to develop this business to increase the capital I borrowed from PT Timah Tbk," he said.

He is grateful that the application for capital to PT Timah Tbk can be approved so that he is no longer confused about adding capital.

“Alhamdulillah, this helped me, because I wanted to develop my photo printing business and toy shop. I hope my business can grow even more,” he concluded. (**)
