WEST BANGKA -- Synergizing to support the world of education, PT Timah received a visit from students from the Private Integrated Madrasah Aliyah Bina Insan Cendikia Mentok enthusiastic about studying at PT Timah's Processing and Smelting Division on Wednesday (4/9/2024).
The visit of 45 students and teachers to the Processing and Smelting Division was a series of learning activities for economics, physics, and chemistry studies.
The students enthusiastically listened to the presentation about the Tin Processing and Smelting process carried out by PT Timah.
Head of the Bina Insan Cendikia Private Madrasah Aliyah, Ratna Wardani, said the visit to PT Timah was in the context of implementing an innovative school learning program carried out outside the school.
"Students learn things related to economics, physics, and chemistry. So we took them for field studies to PT Timah which is a state-owned company and so far coordination has been going well," he said.
Ratna is grateful that PT Timah cares about education and welcomes visits from students to study.
"Alhamdulillah, thank you to PT Timah for caring about education. Our students have visited twice, we are always welcome," he said.
One of Repanita's students admitted that he gained much new knowledge from a visit to PT Timah.
"I am pleased to be able to study at PT Timah, and gain knowledge about mining, management, and application of the knowledge taught at the madrasa," he said.
Likewise, Ditasya said that studying at PT Timah was a new experience for her.
"This is Ditasya's first time studying at PT Timah, we get new experiences and apply the knowledge we have at the madrasa, we are delighted to study outside the madrasa," he said. (*)
