WEST BANGKA -- To support the food security of low-income communities during the month of Ramadan, PT Timah handed over one hundred basic food packages to the West Bangka Regency Government.
This assistance was handed over by SM Administration of the Processing and Smelting Division of PT Timah Deka Zulpan to the Head of the Social Welfare Division of the West Bangka Regional Secretariat, Armizi, in the yard of the West Bangka Regency Government office, Tuesday (19/3/2024).
Later, one hundred basic food packages from PT Timah will be distributed by the West Bangka Regency Government to people in need. The distribution of basic food packages coincided with the Ramadhan Safari activities carried out by the West Bangka Regency Government.
Head of West Bangka Regional Secretariat for Social Welfare, Armizi, said that PT Timah's assistance would be handed over to the people who were entitled to receive it.
"PT Timah's assistance will be distributed to people who are entitled to receive it during the Ramadhan Safari activities of the West Bangka district government," said Armizi
Armizi expressed his appreciation to PT Timah for its concern for the people of West Bangka.
"Thank you PT Timah for its concern for the community. We hope that this collaboration will continue, especially in helping the community in this Holy Month of Ramadhan. Our prayer is that PT Timah will be even more prosperous, advanced, and successful," he hoped. (*)
