KUNDUR -- To support community activities in Dusun I Parit Hanging, Sungai Sebesi Village, Kundur District, PT Timah Tbk handed over assistance to the Pottery Management of Dusun I Parit Gantung.
This assistance will be used to complete pottery equipment which is usually used for community activities such as religious events, traditional events and other activities.
The Chairperson of the Pottery Management in Dusun I Parit Gantung, Sungai Sebesi Village, Kundur District, Supriyono appreciated PT Timah Tbk for supporting the equipping of pottery equipment for community activities.
"We will use this aid to procure pottery equipment such as plates, glasses, rice flasks, chairs and others," he said.
In addition, if they are still sufficient, they will use the funds to purchase material equipment to complete the construction of the pottery warehouse.
"Usually, if there are community activities in Dusun I Parit Gantung, such as weddings, circumcision and feasts and other activities, they usually use pottery equipment. With this assistance, it can be used to complement the existing pottery shortages so that later every community activity can run smoothly," he said.
Meanwhile, the subdistrict head of Kundur, Saifulloh appreciated PT Timah for its assistance and support to the community. The reason is, equipment like this is in accordance with the needs of the community.
"Hopefully the assistance that has been given can be put to good use," he said.
