Support Young Artists’ Creativity, PT TIMAH Tbk Facilitates Seruni Art Festival 2026 in West Bangka

WEST BANGKA -- PT TIMAH Tbk once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting youth creativity and preserving local arts and culture by supporting the organization of the Seruni Art Festival 2026 in West Bangka Regency.

PT TIMAH Tbk facilitated the event by providing the Majapahit Hall as a space for young artists in West Bangka to showcase their talents and artistic works to the public.

Seruni Art Festival 2026 featured a variety of performances, including the Seruni Dance Studio, a children’s band, the musical drama “Belas One,” and a theater performance by Rumah Panggung MAN Bangka Barat, all held at PT TIMAH Tbk’s Majapahit Hall on Friday (February 6, 2026).

Anissa Pratiwi, Advisor of the Seruni Foundation and Chairperson of the Seruni Art Festival 2026 Committee, said the festival carries the theme “Develop Talent, Create Creativity” as an effort to encourage the potential of the younger generation in the arts.

“We believe that every individual has a hidden gem within. Talent is the starting point, but with the right platform, sincere guidance, and hard work, that talent can transform into creativity that creates a positive impact,” she said.

She added that the Seruni Foundation is committed to being a bridge for students to discover their best potential by providing a safe space to express themselves and create without fear.

“We want to build great creative characters who remain grounded in strong values,” she added.

Anissa also expressed her appreciation to PT TIMAH Tbk for supporting the festival by providing the venue for the event.

“We would like to thank PT TIMAH Tbk for being a sponsor and for providing the Majapahit Hall, which made this event possible,” she said.

Meanwhile, West Bangka Regent Markus, who also attended the event, encouraged the younger generation to continue preserving and protecting local culture.

“Use art as a bridge to introduce West Bangka Regency to the world. In this way, our local culture will stay alive and become a shared source of pride,” he said.

According to Markus, the Seruni Art Festival 2026 is not only an arts performance event but also a platform to showcase the creativity, hard work, and dedication of the younger generation in preserving local culture.

“You are the next generation who will safeguard and develop the arts and culture of West Bangka Regency. You should feel proud of the achievements you have accomplished,” he added.

He also expressed appreciation to PT TIMAH Tbk for its contribution to supporting the development of arts and culture in the region.

“We also thank PT TIMAH Tbk for providing the facilities that allowed this event to be successfully carried out,” he concluded. (*)
