KARIMUN -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk continued its series of Safari Ramadan activities across the company’s operational areas as a momentum to strengthen relationships while reinforcing the spirit of togetherness within the company.
This time, the Safari Ramadan event was held in Kundur, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province, on Monday (9/3/2026), and took place in a warm atmosphere of togetherness.
The Safari Ramadan event in Kundur was attended by Deputy President Director Harry Budi Sidharta, PT TIMAH Commissioner Rizani Usman, General Manager for the Kundur Belitung Area Wiyono, Division Head of the Kundur Area, as well as members of the community who were recipients of assistance and donations from PT TIMAH.
The event began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a religious sermon delivered by the leader of Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Gus Asep Tanjung Berlian, who spoke on the theme of piety and sincerity in fasting.
In addition to the sermon and the communal iftar, PT TIMAH also symbolically distributed assistance, including donations for 150 orphans and underprivileged individuals, support for five Tahfidz Quran students, 600 basic food packages, and assistance for five mosque caretakers, Quran teachers, and TPA teachers. This social assistance reflects the company’s commitment to supporting communities around its operational areas.
In his remarks, PT TIMAH Deputy President Director Harry Budi Sidharta said that the Safari Ramadan program carries three main values that serve as the spirit behind its implementation.
First, the spirit of continuing to work and give the best for the company while maintaining the trust entrusted to all members of the organization. Second, the value of strengthening relationships, which is expected to foster closer ties among employees so that unity and solidarity can be built in achieving the company’s goals.
Third, the value of sharing as a form of care for others, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, which is full of blessings.
“This Safari Ramadan serves as a momentum to strengthen the spirit of togetherness. We are reminded to continue working with responsibility, uphold the trust given to us, strengthen our relationships, and increase our concern for sharing with others,” he said.
Meanwhile, PT TIMAH Commissioner Rizani Usman stated that the Safari Ramadan activity reflects the company’s values of togetherness and social care that should continue to be maintained within the organization.
According to him, activities like this not only strengthen the relationship between management and employees but also serve as a platform to cultivate a sense of unity and positive values during the Ramadan season.
“This Safari Ramadan is a reflection of the values of maintaining relationships and sharing with others. Activities like this are very positive and should continue to be maintained because they help strengthen togetherness within the company,” Rizani Usman said.
The series of Safari Ramadan activities organized by PT Timah is part of the company’s efforts to maintain harmonious relationships in the workplace while reinforcing the values of togetherness that serve as a foundation in carrying out the company’s operations. (*)
