SOUTH BANGKA -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk’s 50th Anniversary Community Service Month was warmly welcomed by residents in Toboali, South Bangka Regency, on Thursday (30/7/2026). Held at the Wasprod Office, South Bangka Area, the event featured free health check-ups, blood donation, and mass circumcision services.
Since early morning, residents from various communities gathered at the venue to take advantage of the free health services, blood donation drive, and mass circumcision program organized as part of PT TIMAH’s 50th anniversary celebration under the theme “Tin for the People.”
The strong public enthusiasm was reflected in the number of beneficiaries participating in the Community Service Month activities. A total of 145 residents received free health check-ups, while the blood donation drive collected 41 units of blood. In addition, 111 children took part in the mass circumcision program.
Prior to the event in South Bangka, PT TIMAH’s Community Service Month had already been held at three locations in Bangka Regency, namely Sungailiat and Belinyu, as well as in Central Bangka Regency. The program will continue across the Company’s operational areas.
The free health services are part of the Company’s efforts to improve public access to healthcare while encouraging communities to monitor their health regularly.
South Bangka Deputy Regent Debby Vita Dewi expressed her appreciation for the implementation of PT TIMAH’s 50th Anniversary Community Service Month in Toboali. According to her, the event, which included free health check-ups, blood donation, and mass circumcision, directly addressed the needs of the local community.
“We would like to express our appreciation to PT TIMAH for organizing this community service program in Toboali. The event has been positively received by the public because it provides services that are genuinely needed,” said Debby.
She noted that the program reflects strong synergy between the Company, the local government, and the community in supporting improved public health and overall well-being in South Bangka.
Debby added that the enthusiastic public response is a clear indication that social initiatives like this deliver tangible benefits to the community.
“Today, I witnessed activities that truly benefit the people of South Bangka. This demonstrates PT TIMAH’s commitment as a state-owned enterprise that genuinely cares about the people of South Bangka,” she said.

Appreciation was also expressed by Acting Head of the Bangka Belitung Provincial Energy and Mineral Resources Office Branch for the Central Bangka and South Bangka Region, Deddi Agusta.
He stated that PT TIMAH’s 50th Anniversary Community Service Month, including the event held in Toboali, was a positive initiative that received an enthusiastic response from the public.
“I believe the Community Service Month activities held in celebration of PT TIMAH’s 50th anniversary, both in Central Bangka and today’s event in Toboali, are very positive. As we can see, the public response has been remarkable, especially from the children participating in the mass circumcision program,” said Deddi.
However, he suggested that similar events in the future should be announced earlier so that even more residents can benefit from the services provided.
In addition to its social programs, Deddi also expressed hope that PT TIMAH’s 50th anniversary would serve as an opportunity for the Company to further strengthen its commitment to occupational health and safety across all of its operational areas.
“My first expectation is that PT TIMAH will continue to prioritize occupational health and safety throughout all of its operational areas, while also maintaining strong relationships with communities around its mining sites.
