SOUTH BANGKA - Urip (60), a resident of Penutuk Village, South Bangka Regency, received medical assistance from PT Timah Tbk. Urip is known to have brain cancer and still has to undergo treatment.
The assistance for Urip was handed over by the Director of Operations and Production of PT Timah Tbk Nur Adi Kuncoro to Urip Dalima's sister at the same time as PT Timah Tbk's Service Month which was held in Toboali, South Bangka, Saturday 15 July 2023.
Dalima said that her older sister still had to undergo treatment and was often in and out of the hospital and required a lot of money. So this assistance is really needed to help with Urip's medical expenses.
"Alhamdulillah, today my sister received medical assistance from PT Timah Tbk. This is very helpful for my sister who is suffering from brain cancer and is currently receiving outpatient treatment," said Dalima.
The Head of the South Bangka Regency Health Service, Agus Pranawa appreciates PT Timah Tbk's concern for the people of South Bangka, especially in the health sector.
"The local government appreciates PT Timah for helping with the medical expenses of residents who really need help. We hope that in the future PT Timah can continue to help residents in need," said Agus.
Meanwhile, the Director of Operations and Production (Dirops) of PT Timah Tbk, Nur Adi Kuncoro said that the assistance was a form of PT Timah Tbk's concern for the community.
