PALEMBANG - The Palembang Regional State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) held a social service event as part of the SOE National Dharma Santi 2025 series whose peak event will be held on 13 April 2025 at TMII Jakarta.
The event was held to strengthen togetherness, harmony, and national spirit among SOE employees and the local community.
The social service for Palembang Region was held on 15-16 March 2025 at Pura Agung Sriwijaya, Palembang. This activity carries the theme ‘Through the Implementation of Sradha and Bakti and Increasing the Role of Hindu Young Generation, SOEs Serve the Country Towards Golden Indonesia 2045’.
This activity aims to strengthen synergy between Hindus in the BUMN environment, establish closer collaboration, and provide space for the younger generation of Hindus to practice noble dharma values in everyday life.
Dharma Santi 2025 was attended by various groups, ranging from BUMN workers, Pandita, Pinandita, Parisadha Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI), Hindu students and students, to the Indonesian Hindu Dharma Student Union (KMHDI).
The series of activities held include social and environmental activities such as blood donation, health checks, assistance with basic food assistance and tree seedlings for the surrounding community, as well as donations of equipment for the temple to support facilities and religious activities at Pura Agung Sriwijaya.
In addition, Rsi Yadnya activities were also held, in the form of punia to pinandita as respect and support for their dedication in religious services. Providing assistance to pasraman, in the form of educational and artistic tools to support the younger generation of Hindus in preserving culture and spiritual values.
Tree planting in the temple area, as an effort to maintain the balance of nature and support the reforestation programme. The "1 Seed + 1 Groceries’" programme, where each recipient of groceries also receives one tree seedling to be planted as a symbol of balance between fulfilling the needs of life and caring for nature.
This assistance also includes donations to pasraman which aims to support education and the preservation of Hindu cultural arts.
This activity not only helps others, but also supports environmental preservation and Hindu culture-based education which is part of the nation's identity.
Palembang Regional Semeton BUMN representative, I Putu Asre Ardhana said, Dharma Santi BUMN 2025 is an activity carried out with morals and virtues or dharma that we have, to build a santi life, a harmonious and peaceful life.
"This year's Dharma Santi theme means that building the country is not only about the economy, but also strengthening spirituality, social care, and the active role of the younger generation in maintaining and developing virtuous values in society," said the PT Timah Tbk employee.
According to him, Dharma Santi is a starting point to strengthen social care and involve Hindus in various positive activities that can benefit the wider community.
"Dharma Santi 2025 is a very valuable momentum for Hindus, especially those who are members of BUMN, to continue to increase their participation in realising the Golden Indonesia 2045. Through the implementation of the values of sradha and devotion, as well as by empowering the younger generation, we can contribute more significantly to nation building," Putu added.
He also expressed his gratitude to the National Committee of Dharma Santi BUMN 2025 and the sponsors who have fully supported morally and materially for the success of the Palembang Regional social service and he also hopes that this activity will be an inspiration for Hindus and the wider community in contributing positively to the progress of the nation, realising a harmonious and sustainable Golden Indonesia 2045.
