PANGKALPINANG -- The 49th Anniversary Health Week of PT Timah Tbk in Pangkalpinang was not only a sporting and community event but also a blessing for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that participated in the MSME Bazaar held at PT Timah Tbk’s Head Office on Sunday (August 31, 2025).
A total of 37 MSMEs took part in the bazaar, offering a variety of culinary delights, refreshing beverages, handicrafts, and local creative products that attracted both participants and visitors.
Carrying the theme “For the Red and White,” PT Timah’s 49th anniversary celebration served as a strategic platform for MSMEs to expand their market, showcase products, and boost sales.
The enthusiasm of the more than ten thousand participants at the Health Week made the vendors’ products sell quickly, with many running out of stock before the event concluded.
One of the successful MSMEs was Ruri, a vendor from Kerabut, whose food and beverages were completely sold out during the bazaar.
“Alhamdulillah, everything sold out today, and my sales were much higher than usual. The crowd was amazing. I’m very grateful to PT Timah for organizing such an event because it brings so many buyers. Thank you, PT Timah,” Ruri said.
Ruri noted that events like this not only increase sales but also help promote their products.
Similarly, Erliana, an MSME assisted by PT Timah that sells handicrafts and accessories, shared the same sentiment.
“The MSME Bazaar is a great opportunity for us to introduce our products and build connections. Since we focus on crafts, people often stop by, get interested, and sometimes contact us afterward to order or even collaborate,” she said.
She added that being one of PT Timah’s assisted partners has brought many benefits—not only financial support but also training to improve skills and promotional opportunities through exhibitions.
Likewise, Herawati, who offered a variety of culinary products at the Health Week, expressed her gratitude.
“Today I brought rice bowls, lime drinks, crispy brownies, and several other products. Usually, events like this really help increase sales, especially since there are so many participants. I hope PT Timah continues to organize events like this and always shows care for MSMEs,” she said.
