KARIMUN -- To support the achievements of archery athletes in Kundur, PT Timah Tbk handed over assistance to archery athletes who are members of the Kundur Youth Archery Association (P3K).
Athletes from the Kundur Youth Archery Association will compete in the Porprov event and the Bintan Archery Festival in Bintan Regency.
The chairman of the Kundur Youth Archery Association, Abdul Khair, said that the Archery team from Kundur was expected to be able to make achievements in the two events as well as improve their competitive experience.
"Thank you for PT Timah's support for the Kundur Youth Archery Association (P3K) to be able to take part in this event, hopefully later we will be able to make achievements so that we can make Kundur Archery proud," he said.
However, he said his party did not set too high a target for the athletes. However, his party wants to sharpen the mentality of competing athletes so that later they will be able to take part in various championships and be able to bring home achievements.
For that, he motivates the athletes to be able to give maximum performance in this event so that later they can achieve achievements.
"The achievements in this event will certainly give spirit and enthusiasm for others to continue to practice so that the sport of archery in Kundur can continue to develop," he said.
