WEST BANGKA -- Sakdiah (78) could not hold back her joy when she received food packages from PT Timah Tbk at her home in Tegalrejo Village, Sungai Baru Village, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency, Monday (10/4/2023).
"I am very happy to receive this basic food assistance, a blessing for me and it has become a place of worship for PT Timah," she said.
At her advanced age, Grandmother Sakdiah had to struggle to care for her two grandchildren who were orphans. Therefore, he said, the help of PT Timah Tbk, would really help her.
"Now taking care of two grandchildren who have become orphans. His father died in a landslide accident at TI, while the other grandson followed his mother to Banten. PT Timah also often supports my grandchildren," said Sakdiah.
In the same vein, Azhari (76), another recipient of assistance, assessed that this assistance is a form of PT Timah's concern and concern for the community.
"Thank God with PT Timah's attention, the people are grateful. It's not a matter of value but of concern. Thanks to the company. Hopefully, PT Timah will keep going, stay victorious, keep helping the community," he said.
Meanwhile, Sungaibaru Urban Village Head Amanda appreciated the food package assistance from PT Timah because it really helped their residents.
