CENTRAL BANGKA – PT Timah handed over dozens of sacrificial animals to the community in Central Bangka Regency. This assistance was symbolically handed over to the Regent of Central Bangka Algafri Rahman at the Hall of the Regent's Official House, Thursday (13/6/2024).
Algafri appreciated the assistance of sacrificial animals from PT Timah which will later be distributed to people in villages.
"We, on behalf of the people and the Government of Central Bangka, would like to express our gratitude for the participation of PT Timah which has set aside some of PT Timah's good fortune, income, and profits for the community to enjoy through these sacrificial animals," he said.
On this occasion, Algafri added that he hopes that the assistance of sacrificial animals from PT Timah can provide enthusiasm and happiness for the people of Central Bangka, especially on the 10th of Djulhijah when they celebrate Eid al-Adha.
According to him, PT Timah has become a partner of the Government in supporting development and contributing to society.
"PT Timah remains the hope of the people of Central Bangka, always at the forefront of providing the best, and of course, we always pray for success in production and generating large profits," he hoped.
According to him, PT Timah has provided quite a lot of sacrificial animal assistance to the community.
"We are also very grateful to PT Timah because PT Timah provided a very large amount of sacrificial animal assistance this year, yes, we got almost some of it from PT Timah. "What is needed for each village is 56 sacrificial animals, but gradually, hopefully, there will be support from other friends," said Algafri.
Meanwhile, the subdistrict of Padang Mulia Sudiarto said that the assistance of sacrificial animals from PT Timah Tbk was the first assistance for its residents.
"Thank you to PT Timah for distributing sacrificial animals to our residents, hopefully, this activity can continue in the following years," he said.
"Usually we can slaughter six to seven sacrificial animals every year, but with the current conditions, we only have one sacrificial animal, and thank God, with the assistance from PT Timah we have two sacrificial animals. "Hopefully PT Timah will continue to exist and can continue to help the community," said Sudiarto.
Likewise, the Head of Tanjung Gunung Muslim Village also appreciated the contribution made by PT Timah Tbk to his community.
"Thank God, today we received sacrificial animal assistance from PT Timah, hopefully, this assistance will be a blessing and this assistance will really help our community," he said.
"Thank you PT Timah for providing this assistance, and this is not the only time PT Timah has helped our community, in the form of sacrificial animals, basic food assistance, sanitation assistance, assistance with installing KWH, and many other forms of assistance for our community," he concluded.
