WEST BANGKA -- Still on the occasion of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Timah is sharing happiness by providing compensation for orphans and orphans in the West Bangka Region.
This compensation for orphans and orphans is also a form of thanksgiving and collective prayer for the smooth running of PT Timah's operations and production processes.
Director of Operations and Production of PT Timah Nur Adi Kuncoro together with Deputy Chairman of the West Bangka Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Ustaz H. Zumrowi Ackhyar handed over this compensation directly to the Processing and Smelting Division of PT Timah in Mentok, West Bangka Regency, Tuesday (20/8/2024 ),
One of the Aldi compensation recipients, a resident of Pal 2, Air Belo Village, admitted that he was happy to receive compensation from PT Timah.
"I'm happy to get compensation, I'll keep it with my mother first. Thank you PT Timah," said the student at SD 1 Mentok
Likewise, Tasya, a resident of Gg Cek Mas Mentok, admitted that the compensation from PT Timah would be used for school needs.
Meanwhile, one of the parents receiving compensation, Cori, admitted that PT Timah often cares for orphans
"Apart from providing compensation, our children also carry out free circumcisions from PT Timah. We hope that PT Timah will continue to care. Hopefully, there will be educational assistance for orphans which is really needed for their future," said Aldi's mother.
Deputy Chairman of the West Bangka MUI, Ustaz H. Zumrowi Ackhyar, said that PT Timah has always been known as a company that cares and often helps the community.
"PT Timah has always been considered the best in the eyes of the community and has become a good reference in various matters, including public and social issues. Hopefully this will continue," he said. (*)
