PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah's 48th-anniversary commemoration took place and was completed on Friday 2 August 2024 last week. A series of 48th-anniversary activities were held in all company operational areas.
Commemorating PT Timah's 48th anniversary carries the theme 'Moving Compact' which is implemented throughout the Company's operational areas.
In commemoration of its 48th anniversary, PT Timah carried out a series of activities which started on June 25 2024 by holding a Month of Service at eight points in the Company's operational areas.
PT Timah's Month of Service series includes mass circumcision, blood donation, and health services for the community. This activity succeeded in circumcising 892 children, collecting 389 blood bags, and providing Healthy Car health services to 593 residents.
Apart from the Month of Service, PT Timah is also promoting the planting of 48,000 trees in the company's operational areas which will be carried out from January to August 2, 2024. The planting of the 48,000th tree was carried out by the President Director of PT Timah Ahmad Dani Virsal together with the Board of Directors and Commissioners at PT Timah Head Office on Friday 2 August 2024.
The 48,000 tree planting program has been implemented in East Belitung, Central Bangka, Karimun, West Bangka, Pangkalpinang, Bangka, Belitung, and South Bangka districts.
The various trees planted are eucalyptus, mangrove, cashew nut, soursop, sea pine, and others. This member of the MIND ID Mining Industry holding also handed over 4,800 mangrove seedlings to the community in Baskara Bakti Village, planted 480 productive fruit trees in the company's operational area and planted 48 local trees in the Tanjung Air Reclamation Village.
Apart from holding these two activities, in the PT Timah 48th Anniversary Celebration, the Company also held several activities internally, such as the PT Timah Health Week Olympics which was attended by all PT Timah employees.
In the Healthy Week Olympics, several sports were competed in, such as futsal, badminton, TINS ??Got Talent, Gaple, E-Sport, and others.
Apart from that, on August 2, PT Timah Tbk's 48th Anniversary Celebration was also held simultaneously in the Pangkalpinang, Toboali/WBS, Sungailiat/WBU, Kundur, Belitung and Muntok regions.
This celebration was carried out in a simple manner centered at the PT Timah Head Office, there were various activities carried out such as the MSME Bazaar, performances by employees, and also various competitions in the internal environment.
Apart from that, there is an MSME Bazaar which is PT Timah's effort to encourage the community's economy.
The peak of PT Timah's 48th anniversary celebration was held with the 'Moving Compact Internal Trip' event which was attended by PT Timah employees to reflect on the company's journey.
The President Director of PT Timah, Ahmad Dani Virsal, at PT Timah's 48th Anniversary Moment, invited all Timah people to reflect on the journey of the company which was founded 48 years ago.
August 2 is a sacred moment for all humans Tin. PT Timah has experienced various successes, providing maximum contribution from managing Timah's resources for the country, and also providing a positive impact on the surrounding community.
