Previously, a total of 248 students applied for the PT Timah Scholarship Class Program at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2025/2026 academic year. From those, 63 students passed the administrative selection and field survey.
During the selection process, PT Timah collaborated with the Education Office of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, SMAN 1 Pemali, the Pemali Boarding School dormitory management, and the Psychology Innovation Center of Padjadjaran University.
PT Timah’s Department Head of Corporate Communication, Anggi Siahaan, stated that the selection process was conducted transparently. Students who have passed the selection are advised to keep monitoring updates through the official website.
"Participants who have passed the academic potential test should prepare themselves for the medical examination scheduled for next week," he said.
This scholarship class program is PT Timah Tbk's commitment to supporting the improvement of human resources in mining areas. Since it began in 2000, the scholarship class program has graduated around 815 alumni.
It’s no surprise that every new academic year, PT Timah’s scholarship class program receives high interest, even though it is specifically intended for high-achieving students from low-income families.
