Selection for PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program Continues, 36 Participants Undergo Medical Tests Across Three Operational Areas

PANGKALPINANG -- The selection process for the PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk Scholarship Class Program at SMA Negeri 1 Pemali for the 2026/2027 academic year is still ongoing.

Currently, the selection has entered the medical examination stage, which is being conducted from June 2–4, 2026, across Bangka Island, Belitung, and Karimun.

A total of 36 participants are taking part in the medical tests after successfully passing several previous stages, including Administrative Selection, Academic Potential Test, Psychological Test, Interviews, Clinical Psychology Analysis, and Document Validation.

The medical examination stage is one of the crucial steps before participants are officially declared eligible to join the PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program, which has become one of the company’s flagship education initiatives in supporting the improvement of human resource quality.

One of the participants, Juli Alpiano from SMP Negeri 3 Pangkalpinang, expressed his gratitude for being able to pass the previous selection stages and reach the medical test phase.

“I’m really happy to have made it through the earlier stages, from administrative selection, academic potential tests, psychological tests, and interviews, to now being able to take part in the medical examination,” he said.

To prepare for the medical test, Juli stated that he had followed all the required preparations, including fasting for 12 hours before the examination and maintaining his physical condition to stay fit.

He added that his main motivation for joining the PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program is his desire to help ease his parents’ financial burden while gaining the opportunity to continue his education at a quality school without significant costs.

“I’m interested in joining this program because I want to help reduce my parents’ burden, so I can continue studying at a good school without having to pay a lot,” he explained.

He also believes that the entire selection process has been conducted well and objectively. In his view, those who have reached this stage are students with strong qualifications and capabilities.

“I think the selection process has been carried out very well. Those who made it this far are definitely high-quality participants,” he added.

Juli hopes that his medical test results will be good so that he can pass and be accepted into the PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program at SMA Negeri 1 Pemali.

“I hope my medical test results turn out well and that I can be accepted into SMA Negeri 1 Pemali,” he concluded. (*)
