PANGKALPINANG -- The Corporate Secretary of PT Timah Tbk, Abdullah Umar was named the 'Best Corporate Secretary Mineral Mining Company' in the field of Minerals at the 2022 E2S Awards event held by the Energy & Mining Editor Society (E2S).
This award was received by the Head of the Protocol Secretariat for the Board of Directors of PT Timah Tbk, Guntur Avriyandi in the Lobby Lounge-Bimasena Club, Tuesday (13/12/2022).
The Energy and Mining Editor Society is an association of editors and journalists who then give awards to business people and professionals in the energy and mineral resources (ESDM) sector in the 2022 E2S Awards.
This award is a form of appreciation for the persistence of the company's leaders and professionals in implementing various strategies, including efficiency, which has an impact on the company's performance which continues to grow.
The Corporate Secretary of PT Timah Tbk, Abdullah Umar expressed his gratitude for the award given at the event. According to Abdullah, this award was achieved thanks to the support from the management of PT Timah Tbk.
PT Timah Tbk said Abdullah as a tin mining company that represents the state carries out its business processes transparently and openly.
"Thank you for this award, of course, this cannot be separated from the support from the management of PT Timah Tbk. This will certainly be a motivation to continue to make improvements to support the company's performance," said Abdullah.
