WEST BANGKA -- Al Muhajirin Mosque Youth Association (IRMAS), Rumpis Hamlet, Berang Village, Simpang Teritip District, West Bangka Regency finally managed to have hadrah equipment after receiving assistance from CSR PT Timah Tbk.
The assistance was handed over by the Head of Wastam UPDB in the Kelapa Simter Sulistio area, chairman of the IRMAS Chair of Rumpis Binurdi Hamlet at the Berang Village Office, Monday (13/2/2023).
Chairman of IRMAS Al Muhajirin Rumpis Binurdi said that so far to practice hadrah, IRMAS Al Muhajirin had to borrow equipment from a mosque in a neighboring village.
"So far, when practicing hadroh, when practicing hadroh, they borrowed hadroh tools from other mosques because they did not have hadrah equipment. With the help of PT Timah, we are sure that IRMAS Rumpis will be more optimal and diligent in practicing," he said.
According to him, IRMAS Al Muhajirin Rumpis was interested in playing hadrah music in an effort to maintain Islamic symbols. In addition, this music is played by teenagers so that they have positive activities.
"In hadroh music we pray. In addition, this music is often played at Islamic religious activities in the village," he explained.
The head of Berang Village Beni Bastari hopes that with the help of hadrah music from PT Timah Syiar and Islamic poetry, the village he leads will grow.
"Thank you to PT Timah for the assistance of hadrah music to our residents, IRMAS Al Muhajirin, Rumpis hamlet. We hope that the spread of Islamic poetry in our village, especially Rumpis hamlet, will continue to develop," he said. (**)
