Rommel's life changed at that time, he as an auditor could no longer work according to the demands of the company which ultimately forced him to look for a new job and company. This does not make his spirit dim, with the ability he has in the financial sector he continues to apply to various jobs. Again, because of his limitations, he was prevented from getting a more decent job.

At a glance, Rommel looks like an ordinary person, but his left leg does not function like a normal person due to the surgery he did. Not giving up hope, he explore the virtual world in search of jobs. Finally, he found the recruitment of Indonesia state owned enterprises employees through the Indonesian Human Capital Forum

“I tried to find a job on the internet and an Indonesian Human Capital Forum
announcement appeared, I joined because there was a disability formation. I didn't even choose PT Timah at first because I didn't know the company, but my sister advised me to choose PT Timah Tbk because it was good and I took a series of tests, thankfully I was accepted," he said.

First time on duty at PT Timah Tbk was the first time he stepped foot in Bangka Belitung, but that did not make him give up easily. The acceptance of new colleagues and environment increases his enthusiasm for work and explores new things.

According to Rommel, the work environment at PT Timah Tbk is quite disability-friendly, supported by colleagues and superiors who help each other in their work, making them feel that they want to continue to develop themselves and provide the best performance at work.

“Here I am not forced, which means that no one is demand me if I can't do it myself, there is no coercion regarding my physical condition. It's just that we don't have low self-esteem, want to learn, be confident in our abilities and work well," he said.

He advised all disabilities, even in the midst of limitations, there are many things that can be done as long as you never give up.

"Never give up, even if there is no opportunity, never feel inferior, we always have more value, we have strength within us. What we need to explore is what side of you is the most powerful, confident, always thinking about what we can give to others, even though with all the limitations we are born as winners," he concluded.
